Joel and Kaci are one of the sweetest, most loving couples I’ve ever had the privilege to know. They love each other so well, and when they got engaged it seemed like the most natural thing in the world. When they contacted me about photographing their engagement, I was thrilled! I knew we needed to start their session at their home in Denver. They have a French Bulldog named Bacon, and it would have just been wrong not to have included him in the story of their little family.
The in-home portion of the shoot naturally evolved into a full-blown dance party. If you know Joel for more than five minutes you know that a dance party can break out anytime, anywhere.
Then we headed out to Evergreen to take advantage of the fresh snow and amazing mid-winter Colorado weather. Kaci braved the higher than expected drifts in her stylish boots cat-like balance, and I’m in love with the images that resulted from determination.
Joel and Kaci made my job exceptionally fun and easy, and reminded me why I’ll never give up photographing love. Never stop dancing, you crazy kids!
